EarplugsRequired.com has the goal of becoming a premier resource for music.
We here are committed in seeing that happen.
We are a music website that covers a cross genre of music from the punk pop
of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus to the Van Warped Tour to the metal of
Slayer and Avenged Sevenfold to the hard rocking sounds of Papa Roach
and Seether.
Based in the Baltimore/Washington DC area, the site itself has been launched
since August of 2001. The editor of the site, Courtney Campbell, has worked
with such sites as Shoutweb and Nationalnoise.com, being the media
coordinator for the latter before she resigned to create earplugsrequired.com
The goal of the staff of earplugsrequired.com is to maintain musical
diversity. This is accomplished by the editor, Courtney Campbell's,
commitment to offer a new approach to music journalism by not being limited
by genres.
In the time since it was launched, the site name has grown and is being
recognized by bands and publicists alike for its professionalism and its
quality in promoting music. Over the past year, the site has had the
honor of covering bands/events such as : Warped Tour, Projekt
Revoltion, Silverchair, Slayer, Queensryche, STYX, Taste of Chaos, Take Action Tour, Social Distortion, Avenged Sevenfold, Chiodos, and many more.
